Publications policy

We are active participants in the publications resulting from our work; for a full list visit Info-CORE Publications.

Prior to presenting our results in a paper, lecture or poster, please add the proper scientific credit. Our contribution is mainly intellectual, so often co-authorship is in place. In any case, our contribution should at least be acknowledged, see below text suggestion.

*** If your manuscript contains materials contributed by us, before submitting for publication, it is strongly advised to send us the manuscript so we can review our part. We will help with Figures and manuscript text including Methods. Most importantly, we will make sure your interpretation and presentation of the data are adequate.

Authorship:

We ask for co-authorship and will assist with manuscript preparation if we have made substantial intellectual contribution to a biological question addressed in a manuscript by either help with data analysis and interpretation, development of novel tools, algorithms, pipelines or significant participation in experiment design planning.

Acknowledgement:

All publications resulting from our services should at least acknowledge the Bioinformatics unit. “Publication” includes papers, lectures and presentations in conferences (oral and posters). Suggested text for papers:

"We thank [names of staff members] from Info-CORE, the I-CORE Bioinformatics Unit of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for Bioinformatics data analysis."

Our affiliation:

Info-CORE, Bioinformatics Unit of the I-CORE at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel.
